Welcome to Guest Room Arun Ishigaki

Guest Room Arun Ishigaki is located in the central area of Ishigaki city center. We keep trying to make our room clean and safe as much as possible and, most of all, to make you feel like being home. 

Not to far away from the Bus Terminal and other functions of this beautiful city, we are sure that it is perfect as starting point for your Ishigaki holiday. Besides, you will have absolute privacy but at the same time we are always available to give information on anything that might come up for a tourist in Ishigaki.

It will be our pleasure to support a foreign tourist who visit Ishigaki and other Yaeyama Islands, and most of all to provide you with more reasonable, comfortable and safer place to stay.

Mei's place was super-clean and easily reachable both from Ishigaki port and bus station. 

I informed Mei about my arrival time and it was really easy to check-in. 

Although Mei stays upstairs I never felt any disturbance to my privacy. 

The place is ideally located with many eateries and general stores near-by. However, the Japanese restaurants near-by close by 9pm so better grab your dinner early. The room has a cooking stove but I never used it. She has kept many leaflets in the room (some are in English) which was very helpful. I didn't use car parking but saw some car parks around the corner, be reminded Mei's home doesn't have a car park for visitors. 

All-in-all this place is very liveable and I recommend it to others. 

Tips : I - Read the leaflets on arrival to your room before planning for your trips, it'll be helpful. 

II - Public transport in Ishigaki town is not that good, so better get your international driving license and rent-a-car. 

III - If you can't rent a car, use the Azura Sightseeing Bus tours available morning 9am(preferred) and afternoon 2pm. 

IV - Since Uber isn't available in Ishigaki use "Japan Taxi" mobile app to book taxis like using mobile app. 

V - If you are looking for vegetarian food, search for "Kerala Kitchen Ishigakijima". 

VI - Use the Airport shuttle bus to travel to/fro Airport, cheap and convenient. Last but not the least enjoy the enchanting beauty of Ishigaki and carry your garbage to home and dispose.
