Funakura Park（舟藏公園）

Funakura Park is located in the west of the city center (less than 10 minutes ride from the city office), and you will be able to enjoy the direct view of Taketomi Jima（竹富島）and Ishigaki city center.（石垣市街地）In the north of the park is Makira Elementary School（真喜良小学校）and Mt. Banna（バンナ岳）is situated further north. As one of the nearest parks in the city from downtown, Funakura Park is popular among local citizens.
