Typhoon hits the island

A Typhoon (Tropical Cyclone) Malakas with very strong wind and heavy rainfalls is approaching the coast of Yaeyama islands. The Japan Meteorological Agency is schedulued to issue warnings and alerts against the typhoon as early as tomorrow (September 16) afternoon.
